ABOUT
Jesus and Lemons is a small faith based business owned by two sisters, Rachelle and Chandra. We stared our business on August 21st 2020. We do this all for the glory of God, shining our light for Him alone. We’re SO excited to have you join us! You’re probably wondering “why Jesus and Lemons?”. The Jesus part is easy, He is the center of it all, He is the whole reason for this page. Our love for our Creator has inspired us to share our ideas, creativity and passion. Getting creative for our Creator, sharing some, what we hope will be, inspiring thoughts. So what about the “Lemons”part? Well I decided on the name because I wanted the word “lemons” to represent a few things about what this page is about.
Lemons are considered a symbol of:
Purification
Love
Friendship
Lemons have also been used to add taste and flavor. Gods word says we need to bring flavor into peoples lives (Matthew 5:13). People have also been drinking lemon juice for years to promote health and to detox the body. So let’s look at the word “lemons” as what Gods word teaches us. Meaning through the word of God we are ‘purified’, made new and changed. We find ‘love’ though Gods word because God is love, the Bible is the book of love and it was through love that Jesus died on the cross, His love for us has saved us. Gods word also helps us to ‘detox’ from our sinful ways, yes we sin daily but it’s through the word that we can overcome the flesh and continue to change and grow. Lemons do a lot of good for our bodies just as Gods word does so much more for not only our body but also our heart, mind and spirit. We hope you’ll join us on this journey of growing in different areas in life. This space is open for all, so feel free to share thoughts, prayers and ideas.
